On-Site Laboratory Services:
Virginia Health Center is proud of its on-site lab, which meets the highest standards for quality and patient care. Our lab is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), a federal program ensuring labs meet those quality standards. CLIA regulations set standards for personnel, records, quality control and quality assurance. Our lab is run by Quest Diagnostics (QUEST), one of the world’s leading healthcare diagnostics company.
Having an on-site laboratory makes it convenient for our patients to have lab work completed, and guarantees our providers quick access to the results.
Our lab offers many tests, including:
· Throat Cultures
· Rapid Strep Tests
· Urinalysis
· Blood Tests
On-Site Lab Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM (last blood draw at 3:00 PM)
